I voted for more "writing life/ideas" in the poll but it would be fun to see any fiction you're willing to share as well. Congratulations on reaching 1,000 subscribers :)
I also voted for the "writing life/ideas", because you always have some great ideas around the writing life, but would love to read your fiction/all the things!
What a great roundup of your first year. I've enjoyed all your posts so I'm not voting. I know that's no help at all but I've enjoyed everything and whatever direction you take I'll be reading with interest. I also enjoyed your book very much.
Thanks for the mention! Your support for writers, experienced and inexperienced alike is a real measure of your generosity and kindness. It has been noticed and very much appreciated. Thank you 😊
Huge congrats, Kate. So glad to be here and to get to enjoy your journey and all the wonderful things you write about.
I would *love* to read some of your fiction of course, but I'm open to anything. I think that's what I've come to love with your publication -- you've covered such a fantastic variety of things, it's always a joy to read.
I voted for books: I already have enough writing ideas to see me through for the next 50 years. Anyway, many congratulations. I find your writing thought-provoking, engaging and pleasant to read, so am not surprised by this milestone.
Just what the doctor ordered! (Sorry! I had to. It was the first thing that came to mind.)
The more i invest my time into the substack platform the more I am richly rewarded through new perspectives and insights. I always love hearing authors introductions so I'm off to read your first couple of posts!
This is a great post, because of all the links you've included, so I've saved it. I'm way behind on my reading. Hopefully not as behind as with Twitter (X):
Me (on X): I agree with you.
Bill: I sent that TWENTY years ago!
Me: Well, I like to think carefully before responding.
And, of course, congratulations on reaching such a wonderful milestone!
Congratulations on 1k! What a milestone! I voted Place and Spaces because it fascinates/inspires me to discover places where stories were born (it happens everywhere, and at times in the most unlikely of spaces).

Thanks Cameron!
I actually had an idea to combine those two things...thanks for the input and stay tuned :)

I'm planning to do something that's a combination of all of the above, so you'll get your books!
Funtastic!
1000 mark - congratulations!
I am sure Yoga content would thrive as well. I am quite curious about its growth as a culture from an ancient practice. Looking forward to it.
Thanks so much Nirav!
