Let’s Do This: Nothingness in Fiction
1.    Where are the gaps or ambiguity in your fiction? Why might you choose to keep them as silences or conversely choose to fill them in? What do memory, perspectives, time, and aesthetics have to do with these gaps? Â
2.    Who or what is unnamed in your fiction and who or what is invisible? Is the absence about marginalization, memory, trying to hide…or something else? How might you choose to include the unnamed in your work, whether the main subject or minor elements and characters?
3.    How can absence create a kind of ellipsis in your fiction? In what ways does the silence give us space to play or to seek the nuances of truth?
